Life Is Not A Competition

Hello friend 👋
I AM BACK…to stay too.
What took me this long? Lots of things at the same time but I am inexcusable!!!
"A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms." ~Zen Shin
Whenever you desire to be in a competition. Find a mirror and stay in front of it. Get ready to declare the competition for the person in front of you, that is you definitely. You are allowed to compete with only the person in front of you.
Are you ready to embrace Healthy Competition over unnecessary rivalry? Do you desire growth that is traceable and measurable? Will you like the trajectory of your life to change for the best? QUIT Competition. Start observing just yourself daily in front of a mirror.
The desired outcome you want for a newer role or level deserves a newer version of you also. Do not remain in a state where you are not happy with yourself due to the perceived success and progress of others around you or far from you. Celebrate the success of others but never use it as a yardstick to measure yours.
There is a lasting solution to this unnecessary challenge. The concept of healthy competition is the best recommendation, it helps me and removes stress away from me as I do not focus on what is not mine. Why should you be concerned about the journey of another person whose predetermined destination is not the same as yours? Why? Ask yourself, WHY?
If you embrace your uniqueness, you will bloom and blossom effortlessly. Instead of focusing on other people and envying their successes, sit yourself down and ask yourself relevant questions that will make you work harder on becoming a truer and better version of you. There is a better version of you. Discover it and unleash it for all to see.
The world is in need of true, authentic and original people. Enough of fake and carbon copies of original. No one gets credits for being another person. If such person gets, it’s for a short time. Why do you try to be who you are not when you are tailored for a separate unique assignment?
Until you find you and work on you to be a better version, people attached to you will suffer a number of things due to your lack of your authenticity. Dare to be true to yourself. Get yourself equipped and become a better version for your greater success.

Key takeaway: Let your growth be personal to you; celebrate your wins. There is no win that is too small to celebrate.
Till I write to you again do have a great week ahead. Keep basking in joy.
Best regards,
James Popoola.
